Hi, I'm Joe and I'll be your teacher.

What brought me to yoga was life. With work, relationships and co-parenting, I needed a tool to manage the way I worked through my personal journey.  When I was searching for an outlet, I remembered that my dad had taught me about mudras growing up. I was too young to appreciate it at the time but I decided to investigate further.

Researching Mudras deepened my understanding of meditation and helped me begin to discover my practice. It helped me connect with and heal my inner child. The physical practice of yoga helped me further my ability to stay in meditation longer and release any stored stress and tension.

We live such fast-paced, demanding lives. We deserve peace. YOU deserve peace and I've learnt from my personal experience that yoga and meditation can help you get there.

Hatha Flow Yoga

The Hatha flow yoga class consists of a sequence of Asanas (yoga postures) at a slow and gradual pace suitable for all levels sometimes holding Asanas for 3 to 8 breaths gradually working towards longer holds but flowing from one Asana to the next. Hatha describes many types of yoga forms and is the underlying structure of all yoga styles in the West.

However, in this class of Hatha flow yoga, we'll deliberately move from postures to posture slowly and hold postures for longer breaths, focusing on the movement of energy and the release of any tension within, encouraging mindful movement and correct breathing to improve flexibility and overall mind-body health and wellness.

Hatha Flow Yoga takes place every Saturday from 2:30pm at Harris Academy Greenwich
